Posts: 1 (07/01/09 04:45) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	Tags : None but nobody here will know me and I don't know what the current leadership style (or faction style) is. For those (i.e. all) that don't know me, I am a Noghri assassin who used to be part of SpecOps under Luna Lavarious. I left pretty much as I became adept and I don't really know much more than that I'm afraid! Just wondering what you guys thought about how the empire reacts to aliens now and whether you have specopsy stuff or not and other similar questions?

I actually remember that SpecOps team as well. The Empire is less xeonophobic these days (more like the Imperial Remnant now), so I'm sure you would fight right in. Admiral Disra is de facto leader of the faction - the overall ladership style is more like the time period before Luna took over. And to answer your final question, yes, we do have SpecOps stuff right now. In fact, I would think it's safe to say that SpecOps play a very significant role in our military engagements.

Wasn't expecting you to be around still since I think you left before I did but that's cool. How does SpecOps play in your battles? We were generally the first in and first out and didn't do too much... also, Luna took over?

It was sort of a triumvirate... Anyways, SpecOps is currently involved in the mission to rescue Drake Pollard. You can find it at the TGC Roleplaying Boards. These days we like to place much more of an emphasis on person to person encounter, instead of the old army vs. army interaction. As for our battles, yes, SpecOps is usually the first ones in but I suppose the government (Moffs, etc...) would be the last ones to leave (if they every do) as they are usually placed in charge of the planet (assuming its a takeover).

However, please note that I am not involved with SpecOps and am not the final say, but you would be assigned to them. Like I said before, what specific area is not up to me.

I am glad to get more of our own assassins, so we don't have to hire any outsiders. I am one of the most active, and would be happy to help you with an Intro unless someone in SpecOps can do it. Just post and invite me, PM or leave it open for whoever gets it first. If you know how you want your story to go, but an ooc note at the end. As for training, there is a new Mock Battle many of us (even Adept) are doing in the Training Forum that you can join right in on, and other than that, just jump into Muun. I shall decline. Indeed I shall probably only drink water. I'll try and work out what I'm going to put in an introduction thread. I know how to roleplay; I was around for a while; so I'm fine with leaving it open and keeping it all IC and seeing where it ends up. A mock battle might be a bad idea. I'm only really good at killing or being invisible, you see.

If you don't mind me asking you a personal question, Adjutant Larson, what does the initial E stand for? I've seen a couple of other people around with "E" as a middle initial and nobody has it written anywhere! Is it just a middle name?

As for another man I know with a middle initial E, I've seen someone infer that it stood for "Esn't", a play on "Isn't", but I don't bother with him enough to care to find out the truth.
