Hello fellow citizens of the Empire. I'm totally new to this freestyle forum roleplaying thing, and actually forums in general, so I may need guidance.
I'm also pretty fuzzy on Star Wars mythos, but I've been working on learning more to have a more in depth experience (thank you Wookiepedia). I've
made my first character bio and posted it in the official thread. Looking forward to making my IC introduction soon.

Alright, I already have questions. How does this character driven role-playing thing go? I've done pen and paper stuff casually so I know how to roleplay,
but I haven't done anything completely driven by story. I read through some of the roleplaying threads, so I kind of know what is "expected" of
me. I want to know how we are supposed to go about starting a story including others, like whether people usually think ahead about who should be in it and
work together on it, or if someone starts a story and others just join in appropriately from there.

We can coordinate through PMs, chat (TGC has a chat room), AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, etc.
Or, you can post a thread proposal in the OOC Community Forum and get support from people. |

It's a mix of both, really, but the last one's the most common form. Take overs and such, have a rather strict direction, with two outcomes to be
decided by the people playing, based on skill, though as of late it's who's got the bigger guns..
And, no. That's for the whole of RP-ville, not just TGU. Also: Advent or Vasarii? |

Yeah, TEC here. Your avatar reminded me of this one Advent portrait, so I immediately (and correctly) assumed you played.
I take you Drone fleet, and raise you max-pop Kodiaks! Plus basic support craft, Flak ships, two Kol's and three Carriers! Also: Disra, pshaw! I am not new to the whole Forum scene! that's what I'm trying to help him with, to fit in with the forum chat stuff. |

TEC have some pretty sweet looking ships, in fact I don't really like the idea of the Advent or the way their ships look, but the race is the most
conducive to my play style.

After thinking, I could also be in the Army. I think he could make a good stormtrooper too. I already made the IC intro, but it's vague enough I could be
picked up by any branch, I guess it's just up to whoever gets to me first or needs me the most :P
